What is Fibroadenosis?

Non-cancerous breast conditions in which the symptoms vary from one woman to another as some suffer through excessive breast pain while some just find it annoying. This condition can develop in one or both the breasts. The causes of Fibroadenosis remain unknown but abnormal response of breast tissues to hormonal changes that occur with menstrual cycle is often taken as a cause.

Symptoms

• Mastalgia or breast pain
• Increase in breast size
• Breast swelling
• Lumps within the breast
• Breast tenderness
• Burning
• Itching

Cure

• Oral contraceptives for women with severe symptoms
• Lumpectomy or excisional biopsy in which the surgeon removes breast tissue and sends it to for cancer test
• Cryoablation, the tissue is frozen up in this process using the devise called cyroprobe
